The tags can be ‘straight’ (like a librarian) or ‘bent (to reflect your personality or passion about the subject).
So Tagmotion’s a superior alternative to tag clouds for making video browsable and searchable.
OR FOLLOW THESE STEPS
Don’t enter timecode data to the url while the video is playing. If you pause or stop the video when you enter the data, it should be OK.
No. Tagmotion is not set up for collaborative tagging at the moment.
But this only applies to the Tag Tree Editor.
Any number of people can use your embedded tag tree to browse and watch video, of course.
Go into Publish Tag Tree Under the second heading: Embed in Your site, you’ll see a blank field titled: Tag Tree Name. Enter your desired name here.
Not at the moment. We plan to include social features like these in future releases.
Anyone who has access to your account can edit your tag tree just as you do. In other words, they need to sign in using your Tagmotion™ username and password.
Of course, you need to ensure they know how to use the application, or they may lose important data.
We may introduce collaborative tagging in future, where multiple people can use the one Tagmotion™ account at the same time.
Not yet. We will email you about important new changes like this.
Yes. Simply paste your tag tree’s url into your Facebook status update. Find out how to create your url here (C2).
Yes. But if you have a hosted Wordpress account (ie as part of the wordpress.com hosted solution), your blog will not support the use of embed code.
For more:

So whenever you attempt to paste the embed code from Tagmotion into a blog post, Wordpress will always strip out the iframe tags which include the embed code.
But if you host your own Wordpress software (rather than using the hosted, or ‘software as a service’ option), you will be able to embed a Tagmotion tag tree into your posts (because this version supports iframes via the installation of a plugin).

Check that the settings in your browser aren’t zooming you in.
eg with Chrome, click View from the menu bar, then ‘Actual Size’.
These options may be provided in future releases.
You’re probably a zealous user (we love those!) who has clicked a few buttons in rapid succession. If you hit the Escape button on your keyboard, that should fix it. If not, just close that tab or window and try logging in again.
Email us at mayday at Tagmotion dot com and we’ll do our best to recover it for you. Where we are able to restore your data, we will make our best effort to do so within 48 hours.
They save automatically, but this may take longer than you think if you have a slow internet connection. You will know because the status of the saving process is shown in the blue bar above the tree as either: “Saving tag tree”, or “Tag Tree Saved”. Make sure you don’t click away to do something else until you see “Tag Tree Saved”.
Yes. If you can’t see the change or addition you’ve made, just click the ‘refresh’ button in your browser and you should see it then.
The paid version gives you:
The free version has the same functionality as the paid version but you’re limited to 20 videos (including segments) and your audience sees ads with their search results. You have no control over the ads that appear.
Unfortunately, no. It’s not practical at the moment for us to allow you to block ads from your competitors, for example. The advertising that comes with free accounts is ‘one size fits all’.
We do block ads that we deem to be unsuitable (gambling, tobacco, adult services etc) from all accounts.
If you want your tag tree to be ad-free, you can choose the paid version for $2 per month.
Yes. You have the choice of free (ad-supported) accounts or paid accounts that carry no advertising.
First, you have the choice of a free account where advertising appears with search results, or an ad-free paid account.
Tagmotion™ isn’t an application that you download. It’s a web application that you can access when you’re connected to the internet. So it makes no sense to charge you per ‘download’.
TODO
Yes you can. Just go in and create a new ‘paid’ account. You can then export your tag trees & all the contents of your old free account over to your new ‘paid’ account.
If you cancel or don’t renew your subscription, your account will revert to a free account.
After six months we will disable it, meaning you will no longer be able to embed your tag tree anywhere.
But you will still be able to go in and see all the videos you’ve indexed, along with all the tags you’ve applied, including your tag tree.
If you’ve forgotten which email account your account relates to:
It’s aimed at anyone who wants a better way to keep track of, and share any collection of Youtube videos. Anyone who wants to make these videos more discoverable, via Twitter or their blog or their website.
The main benefit of a web or ‘cloud’ application is that you’re using the very latest version all the time. We are constantly improving Tagmotion™ & you can instantly take advantage of these improvements without paying for an upgrade or downloading anything.
We wanted to allow people who are serious about their video collection as much control as possible over how Tagmotion looks.
New features will be added regularly & instantly available.
You’ll be notified by email whenever we turn important new features on.
New features may include the following:
Not at the moment. We may introduce API’s to allow you to do this in future.
We will turn on a keyword search feature with a future update. At the moment, Tagmotion™ is purely for navigating video by browsing.
Tagmotion™ makes money from subscriptions with the paid version and from advertising with the free version.
The limitation with the free version is that you can only have (index) 20 videos, including segments.
We intend to release multlingual versions in future. Subscribers to the paid version will be notified by email whenever we turn on new features such as this.
With the free version of Tagmotion™, you may see advertisements next to your search results. These are delivered by our advertising partner, Adbrite.
You may also see advertisements with the Youtube videos you watch. We have no control over the advertising that appears with Youtube videos. If you want to, you can opt out of being tracked by Adbrite, Google, and most of the other ad networks at the Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising website:

When you add a video to your index, you may wish to include extra information that these fields cater for.
You can’t search on these fields at the moment, but we will add this feature in the future.
